I joined the Marine Corps back in 2006, fresh out of high school. I was at a point in my life where I felt alone, and unheard. A friend of mine that served in the Marines with me gave me a number and told me that Tim could help me out of my situation. I was a little cautious at first because in my life people just don't help you without seeking something from you in return and I knew I didn't have anything to give. I finally called Tim after a day or two, I thought well what's the worst that can happen. From that first call I was sure that my life was going to change. Tim was very empathetic and sincere. I really do thank my lucky stars that Tim as well as other people he linked me up with were placed in my life at a time when I really needed someone. Now my two boys and I are in our new home and loving it. I also have a couple options for jobs until I start school. Things are looking up for me and I couldn't have done it this way or this fast without Tim and his teams help. When you have done the right thing for your family and still can't get a job and have been denied unemployment benefits and not knowing how long the food stamps will last, you can feel very alone. When I first met Tim, he made it very clear that even though I had taken some hits, I would bounce back up. That measure of confidence from at the time was an almost complete stranger was very refreshing.

Tim led me to many contacts and organizations he knows. It's nice knowing you have a battle buddy when you're looking for employment. My career field is in IT, as I am also a retired CW2 from the SC Army National Guard, and it seemed even the best leads went nowhere. Tim notified me of an upcoming job's fair at MMTC and on the very last booth, I met my future employer! Tim goes to the mound for you and helps you think outside of the box. He really does care for you and your family and the situation you are in. Thanks again for everything!

So far, they have helped me with my wardrobe for interviews, made my resume more competitive, and have helped me with my interview skills. They are also helping me out with additional training relevant to my job search and with pointing me in the direction for possible job opportunities.
